The IMX708-75 Camera Module and IMX708-120 Camera Module are camera sensor modules based on the Sony IMX708 sensor, compatible with Raspberry Pi series boards. They feature 79.8° / 120° field of view (FoV) and deliver both sharp imaging and a wide framing range, making them suitable for various shooting scenarios. The modules are designed to be used with the standard Camera Module 3 baseboard and also support custom user‑developed baseboards.
The IMX708-75 Camera (B) and IMX708-120 Camera (B) feature Waveshare's self‑developed baseboard paired with the corresponding camera modules. With dimensions identical to the Camera Module 3, they are fully compatible with the libcamera library, as well as Picamera2 and rpicam-apps built on top of it, enabling rapid development without extra debugging. They also integrate built‑in autofocus for precise, clear image capture — convenient and easy to use, blending professionalism with simplicity.
