COB LED Strip Features
This product uses COB (Chip On Board) packaging technology, where multiple LED chips are directly integrated onto a substrate to form a continuous, uniform light‑emitting surface. Compared to traditional SMD LED strips, it offers the following characteristics:
- More uniform light emission: no visible granularity, presenting a continuous and soft light band effect
- Softer light: reduces point‑source glare, more suitable for close‑range illumination
- More compact structure: higher luminous density per unit area
- Cleaner visual appearance: ideal for ambient lighting, decorative lighting, and display applications
COB LED strips are particularly suitable for scenarios that require high light uniformity, such as indoor ambient lighting, cabinet lighting, backlighting, and commercial display illumination.

Protocol Description
This product uses a single‑wire serial communication programmable driver IC (compatible with WS2812B LED communication timing) and transmits data using NRZ (Non‑Return to Zero) code.
The LED strip has a segmented control structure. Each IC controls one light‑emitting segment, with 12 segments per meter (83.3mm/segment). Each segment supports five‑channel dimming: RGB + Cool White + Warm White (RGBWC), with 8 bits per channel, totaling 40 bits of data.
After power‑on, the IC receives data from DIN. After receiving 40 bits, it latches the current data and forwards the remaining data to the next stage via DO. During this process, it does not accept new data; it outputs corresponding PWM signals to control brightness based on the received data.
When a RESET signal (low level ≥ 280μs) is input, the IC updates the display and starts receiving data again. Until a RESET signal is received, the display state remains unchanged.

Current / Power Requirements
The maximum power consumption of this product is approximately 26W per meter, with an operating voltage of 24V, so the maximum operating current per meter is approximately 1.08A.
When selecting a power supply, it is recommended to leave some margin; the power supply rating should be at least 1.25 times the maximum power consumption to ensure long‑term stable operation.
When multiple strips are cascaded, voltage drop along the line may occur. It is recommended to provide power compensation at regular intervals via auxiliary power cables to avoid uneven brightness or color deviation.
